REACH is a nonprofit affordable housing development and property management company, begun in 1982 in response to neighbors’ concerns about deteriorating housing conditions in Southeast Portland. Today, REACH owns and manages a portfolio of 1,607 units of affordable housing across the metropolitan region. REACH has a staff of 99, augmented by approximately 500 volunteers per year, and an annual consolidated budget of $14 million. Among many awards, REACH has received the Bank of America Neighborhood Excellence Initiative Award, the Oregon Housing and Community Services “Award for Excellence” for our Resident Services Programs, and has been recognized as one of OregonBusiness magazine’s 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon four years in a row.

A healthy community begins at home. REACH provides quality affordable housing and opportunities for individuals, families and communities to thrive.
