Background
Joseph Corporation was formed in 1991 to address affordable housing needs in Aurora. Services and programs have included multi-family development, home ownership education and counseling, employer assisted housing, and home rehabilitation. Distressed properties are purchased, rehabbed, and sold to families of low and moderate income. Homeownership and foreclosure prevention counseling is provided to hundreds of families in the Kane County region with approximately 40% of clients representing minority populations. Joseph Corporation continues ownership interest in 126 units of low or moderate income housing.
