Background
Neighborhood Housing Services of Orange County has enjoyed remarkable success in literally turning neighborhoods around. For over twenty-nine years this community-based nonprofit organizations has been working to restore damaged neighborhoods to attractive, desirable and affordable place to live. Among the organization's core activities are a first-time homebuyer program, first-time buyer and financial literacy education programs, development of multifamily and single family housing, and property management. Through these programs, NHS OC has built a solid reputation for forming effective partnerships with businesses, cities and residents in revitalizing communities. NHS OC adminsters the Orange County Housing Trust, a regional solution to the growing demand for affordable housing options in Orange County (www.ochousingtrust.org).

Neighborhood Housing Services of Orange County strengthens communities and enhances the quality of life for working families by expanding housing opportunities, promoting sound financial management and encouraging civic engagement.
