Background
Argenta CDC is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1992. The CDC was formed by residents and property owners in the downtown neighborhoods of North Little Rock, Arkansas in response to increasing levels of crime and neglected housing. Guided by the belief that decent and affordable housing is fundamental to neighborhood stability, Argenta CDC began to acquire neglected properties for rehabilitation and resale. In 1998 Argenta CDC expanded its service area to assist homebuyers throughout Pulaski County. In addition to green residential new home construction, the corporation provides homebuyer education, loan origination, access to grants for down-payment assistance, and post purchase counseling and provides single and multi family rental housing.
