Background
The Oak Hill CDC was established in 1985 as the Oak Hill Housing Council, Inc., and reincorporated under its current name in 1987. The CDC grew out of concerns of neighborhood residents associated with Friendly House, a non-profit multi-service center, about affordable housing.

Mission
To empower, enable and support community members in their efforts to revitalize the Union Hill and Oak Hill and Upsala Street area neighborhoods of Worcester.
