Background
The Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation (NDC) was created in 1981 to develop, organize and plan with the community for the delivery of services intended to build a better future for Codman Square. With a staff of fourteen and an annual operating budget of $1.1 million, the NDC is revitalizing neighborhoods through creation, rehabilitation and maintenance of quality rental and owner occupied housing, economic development, community planning and organizing.

Mission
To enhance the quality of life for all residents of Codman Square and to ensure the stabilization of the community. The mission is carried out through comprehensive initiatives which encompass housing development, economic development and community planning.
