NeighborWorks HomeOwnership Center of Manchester – A comprehensive homebuyer counseling and financing program to help low-income families buy their own homes
• Operates “NeighborWorks® HomeOwnership Center” in
downtown retail location as part of a national program
• Offers over 75 educational programs each year, including
orientations, home ownership seminars, home buyer financial
literacy clubs, landlord trainings, post purchase group
counseling workshops, and anti-predatory lending workshops
• Provided homeownership counseling to over 4,000 families
• Offered the first New Hampshire homeownership seminars in
Vietnamese and Spanish
• Is the lead non-profit organization for the state-wide Financial
Fitness Program
• Provided financial fitness training to 389 individuals since 2001
• Enrolled 289 individuals in an Individual Development Account
(IDA) savings program
• Began offering home mortgages and down payment/closing
cost assistance loans statewide in 2000
