Background
Neighborhoods Inc. of Battle Creek was reorganized as a NeighborWorks Organization and began the delivery of housing services in January of 1992. Over the last six years Neighborhoods Inc. has helped over 450 families achieve home ownership, provided financing to over 300 households for home repair and improvement, treated over 200 problem properties through rehabilitation or demolition, and developed 300 units of rental housing.

The mission of Neighborhoods Inc. is to help neighbors achieve healthy neighborhoods by identifying leadership, resources, and effective strategies that bring about long term change.
