Background
Neighborhood Housing and Development Corporation (NHDC) is a private, nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation formed in 1982 to promote and provide decent, safe and affordable housing opportunities for lower-income residents of the Alachua and Marion counties, Florida.

Mission
To improve the quality of life and economic opportunities of low- and moderate-income persons residing in select target areas by providing programs and services designed to address existing neighborhood problems.
