Background
Neighborhood Housing Services of Phoenix (NHSP) was established June 26, 1975, with help from the City of Phoenix and the soon-to-be-formed NeighborWorks America, in the Coronado neighborhood. The founders recognized the importance of providing services to help homeowners preserve their homes and their neighborhoods.

Mission
NHSP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the revitalization of Phoenix neighborhoods by providing a full range of programs and services to encourage, create and support home ownership.
