Background
The Rocky Mountain Mutual Housing Association, Inc., was founded in 1992 with the belief that those people who do not own their homes could enjoy safe, affordable, quality housing and have a significant voice in the management and operation of their housing communities.

Mission
The principle mission is to be a partnership organization of local community and resident members that develops, owns, and manages permanent affordable housing and provides related services for low- and moderate-income residents. The residents are members of and have a voice in the affairs of the Mutual Housing Association.

    8/13/2009 In December, RMC completed the refinance of its 300 unit Garden Court property with Fannie Mae. RMC is currently utilizing $1,750,000 of the proceeds to completely refinish the exterior of the property wrapping the buildings and using an insulated vinyl product that will reduce maintenance costs and improve the energy efficiency of the property. The funds will also be used for replacing roofs on 14 buildings, replacing the perimeter fence, asphalt resurfacing, and some cement replacement. The junior olympic pool was completely resurfaced and we have replaced 2 domestic hot water boilers with budgeted replacement funding from the property.
